The Overuse of Technology in Our Daily Life Essay

†¢ An Introduction Would that be possible to stay away from our technology’s devices for just a day? The answer for this question will bring a lot of negative answers, and of course if we ask this question in a survey, â€Å"NO† will be the winner of this survey. Talking about the use of technology reminded me one of the sources from my annotated bibliography by Amy Petersen, who is the Theatre and Media Arts Department Chair and Associate Professor in the College of Fine Arts and Communications at Brigham Young University. In her article which she wrote about the overuse of tech in our daily life and its affects, she said â€Å"If you would have told me a few years ago that I would feel completely lost without a cell phone, I never would have†¦show more content†¦The reason why I want to get the attentions of teachers and parents is because they can play a very good rule in changing minds of our new generation about the use of technology and its side effects. Even though my res earch will manually focus on the negative side of the technology, but my impaling propose will be to show the negative effect of technology to my intended audience so they can distinguish the good and the bad use of technology in their lives. The reason why I choice to write about this research question rather than writing about my others two research question is because technology’s violence and technology’s effects on our societies are becoming a widely controversial issue. Taking a part in this controversial issue and uncovering the effect of technology on our lives will be interesting. Furthermore, by researching my research question and making annotated bibliography I personal learned a lot. Continuing with more research to make my proposal and my research paper will be another good addition to my knowledge. On the other hand, as I mentioned that technology has several effects on our societies and of course on our new generation, this will be also a very interesting and useful information for my audience. †¢ Review of sources For supporting my thesis for my research paper, I stream a lot of collages and universities websites, and read bench of articles about the changes in our societies which are caused by technology.
